The Quantum Condensed Matter Dynamics group is lead by Prof. Andrea Cavalleri and focuses on the physics of strongly correlated electron systems, as well as and their control with strong THz frequency transients. Light induced superconductivity, control of magnetism by nonlinear phononics, coherent control of Mott insulators and Charge Density Wave states are among the recent highlights.
